Cricket Kutcheri
One of the most popular events of YACM is perhaps the annual Cricket Kutcheri. This is where all musicians come together after the December Margazhi Music Season to refresh themselves. Through this friendly match, musicians fraternize and the spirit of unity is kept alive among all musicians. Healthy competition gives way to interesting matches and an enjoyable day at the end.
This year, the YACM Cricket Kutcheri was held on the 10th of January, 2010 at the YMCA Nandanam 'A' Grounds. There were 4 teams that participated - Red, Yellow, Green and Blue - and the captains were N. Guruprasad, N. Ravikiran, K.V. Gopalakrishnan and Mannargudi A. Eashwaran.
