Sangita Kalanidi Dr. T.K. Murthy conducted a very informative lecture-demonstration on the 72 melakartha talams on April 30th, 2010. He was accompanied by his son Sri Jayaraman on the vocal, Sri B. Sivaraman on the mridangam, Sri N. Guruprasad on the ghatam, and Sri Anirudh Athreya on the kanjira.
